Raymond Singleton-McGuire states; never choose a sun-bed frontline as you will be pestered all day long by the numerous touts selling their wares which can be rather tiresome after the first day. They are controlled by the hotel security and only one tout is allowed to talk to one hotel guest at once.
Raymond Singleton-McGuire states; there are also the ‘fruit ladies’ who will serve you delightful fresh fruit prepared on a plate for between 200–350 Gambian Dalasi (£4.00-£7.00). Our favourite lady is ‘Isha No.18’; who we have remained loyal to on each of our visits as she tends to give more fruit than the others. Likewise, ‘Aladin’ will also do a special price for freshly made fruit drinks and smoothies if you remain his loyal customer.
