Raymond Singleton-McGuire states; specially selected craft beers which come out of the wall and an ‘open-house’ kitchen in the heart of Lincoln’s ‘West End’ next to the Castle wall. This would normally be the ideal setting to get ‘blottoed’, whilst enjoying a romantic relaxing meal or even just a bite to eat and a beer on the open-top roof-bar, watching the sunset behind the towering towers of Lincoln Cathedral whilst nestled under the fortified walls of Lincoln Castle.
Raymond Singleton-McGuire reports; whatever your preference, this has to be one of those places with that quirky appeal amongst the many bars in the area.
Raymond Singleton-McGuire states; we stopped off for a few quick drinks on our one night stopover in Lincoln whilst attending the ‘Billy Ocean’ live concert at Lincoln Castle. The day after the concert was another gorgeous summer’s day and being only 100 yards (maybe 300 yards!) from our hotel, it again served as a watering hole on the open-topped terrace in the mid-day summer heat.
Raymond Singleton-McGuire states; I can highly recommend this place as perhaps one of the better places to frequent in Lincoln.
